The Cup IS Half Full!

To amuse Pufferfish when we're in the car or standing in line or whatever, and to help her practice the sounds of whatever letter we're learning this week, I made up a sort of game where I'll ask her things like, "Which one has an 'm' sound? Mud or Dirt? Daddy or Mommy? Dog or cat?" Usually Pufferfish chooses the right word.

So yesterday I was surprised when I asked her, "Which one has an 'm' sound? Cup or mug?" and she replied, "Cup!"

"Cuh-cuh-cup! Does that have an mmmmmmm sound?" I asked her.

"Yes," replied Pufferfish, "because its filled with mmmmmmmilk!"
