MEET THE REVIEW PANEL:
Little Bear, age 6... Full of action and always the star of the show, Little Bear can be difficult to please! I am always in search of toys and activities that will capture her attention. Abby's favorite things to play with are her stuffed animals, art supplies, and dry erase board! She is also interested in testing out dolls, books and games.
Pufferfish, age 2... Cute as a button, Pufferfish is a bright toddler who thinks she's a big kid! She enjoys playing with anything that makes noise, and is very interested in the alphabet right now. She also loves listening to music in the car (I've been buying the old Wee Sing cassettes from thrift shops, and she thinks they're the best) having books read to her, and trying her hand at puzzles. She is also starting to play games... her very favorite is Cranium Hullaballoo, and she also likes Don't Wake Daddy and The Elmo Birthday Game! Charmingly, though, Pufferfish says her favorite toy is a guitar I made for her from a shoe box and some rubberbands!
Monkeyboy, age 12... Monkeyboy is an adolescent who can no longer be pleased with simple toys. He is mostly into skateboarding, video games, music, and just hanging around with his friends. I was so confused about what kinds of things might interest Monkeyboy, that I went to the Personality Finder on Gifts.com. Sarah and I decided that Monkeyboy's personality is either X-treme Dude or Class Clown. According to the website, Monkeyboy would enjoy things such as a snack launcher, creative lighting solutions, extreme alarm clocks, funny books, etc. (What do you mean, I could have just gone upstairs and asked him? I told you he's twelve! His standard answer for any question I may ask him is "Uh-huh!")
Sarah, age 14... Sarah is a bright, mature Honors Student whose unique personality and insistence on marching to the beat of her own drum has made her one of the most popular kids in her school. Sarah is kind to everyone and subscribes to no particular "clique." She loves drama, singing and art, and has read all of the Twilight books so far. Sarah is not sure what types of things she'd like to review, but she trusts your judgement.
Rafael, age 6... Rafael is a lot like Monkeyboy... difficult to please! He loves to be very active, and enjoys jumping on the trampoline, making up games that involve him turning into a wolf, and playing tag. He is very adnoment about being a "man," and is quite irritated that he is outnumbered by girls in our house most of the time! Right now he loves Pokemon and Super Mario Brothers. He also enjoys trying out board games and playing with action figures!
Nicki... Hey, thats me! I am the auntie in charge of all of these kids! I try to keep the younger ones busy as much as I can, especially Pufferfish, who I am home with all day long. Pufferfish and I do "Tot School," where I basically design my own at-home preschool program for her. I would be excited to review just about anything kid-related... organizational products, art supplies, craft kids, games, toys, books, videos, puzzles, educational products, food, bath products... anything that may help keep this wild bunch calm and happy!
We also have two dogs, Clover and Lily, who would be glad to test out any pet supplies you may have!
